Join the Southern Turning Spring Equinox zoom call to meet with friends and folk from the wider networks of deep ecology and earth-based wisdom across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
TIMING: 4:00–5:30pm AEST (90 minutes of structured exercises and reflection), plus an optional community half-hour chat afterwards. 6:00pm NZST start.

ABOUT THE CALL
Jo Roberts and Pat Fleming will facilitate this gathering following the Spiral created by Joanna Macy within the Work That Reconnects, drawing on practices from this work. The Spiral acts as a structure for deeper enquiry into what’s emerging within and through us, especially at this southern Spring Equinox as we move from winter’s more inward time of rest and dreaming into brighter, stronger light and longer days, with new life crackling all around us.
As a small group we’ll sit quietly together starting in gratitude, then engage in pairs or threes to reflect and listen to one another about how we find balance while living within these times of fast change, challenge and unpredictability.
We’ll offer a guided meditation on the emergence of winter’s seeds into springtime, and consider what balance is needed to live and engage fully — how we maintain and resource this balance within our daily lives, family, community and our work in the world, whatever that may be. What else is arising, being called forth? How can we be supported and nurtured to engage with this? We’ll close by returning to our balancing point of gratitude.
Everybody is welcome. No previous experience necessary.
